Welcome to
The Little Maison
At Little Maison Bistro, we believe great food begins with fresh ingredients, thoughtful preparation, and a connection to the place we call home. Inspired by coastal living and simple moments shared over good food, we are a cozy takeaway creperie and wellness pantry nestled in the Seawalk Park boutiques, in the heart of North Rustico.
Our philosophy is simple: to serve food we would proudly place on our own family table. Fresh, wholesome, balanced, and prepared with care every day.
Our sweet and savoury crepes and croffles are handcrafted with thoughtfully selected ingredients and fresh fillings prepared in-house. Whenever possible, we support Island growers and producers, using PEI-sourced ingredients including lobster from Doiron Fisheries, meats from Larkin Farms, ADL dairy, and fresh produce from local growers.
Alongside our food, our coffees, wellness beverages, and handcrafted drinks are designed to feel nourishing and uplifting.

Founder
Meet our
Little Maison Bistro was created by Smita Prakash, originally from India and now proudly calling PEI home. Over the years, Smita has built businesses and community experiences across the Island, including Graham Inn, a boutique wellness-focused accommodation in Cavendish, and Indriya Home, a curated home décor store inspired by craftsmanship and thoughtful living.
Food and hospitality have always been deeply personal to Smita. Growing up, she was surrounded by family traditions rooted in cooking, gathering, and sharing food. Her family history includes Wengers, a beloved bakery in India with over a century of legacy, where food has long been seen as a source of comfort, connection, and joy.
Little Maison is also shaped by Smita’s passion for wellness, mindful living, yoga, and Ayurveda. With a focus on fresh ingredients, local producers, natural flavours, and food that feels good, Little Maison brings together Island hospitality, family tradition, wellness, and warmth.
